Rehearsals will be held weekly on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. in the Homer High School choir room.<\/p>\n<p>This will not be the first time that Mozart&rsquo;s Requiem has been performed locally. Singers in 2001 and 2002 sang the Mass in honor of victims of the Sept. 11 attacks, according to previous reporting by the Homer News.<\/p>\n<p>The participant fee is $150 ($75 per semester) and copies of the score will cost an additional $15 each. Payment plans and partial or complete scholarships are available. Adult singers will have to fill out a school district volunteer application form in order to participate, which includes passing a background check.<\/p>\n<p>Rehearsals for central peninsula singers will begin after Labor Day.
